Las Vegas Southern Nevada Health Department Tattoo/Piercing Artist Permit! Southern Nevada Health Department License Renewal.
You must be licensed in the state of Nevada in Clark County as a Tattoo or Piercing artist. For the Las Vegas Tattoo Lounges there are no exceptions.
Executive Tattoo Lounge is now accepting applications for a full time TATTOO/PIERCING artist position. We are a well-known studio located on the corner of Flamingo and Decatur, We receive many tourists and local clients have been established as long established clientele.
70% to 80% of clientele come from online marketing.
- Applicants must have a friendly and positive attitude, and a solid, up to date portfolio.
- We require 3 or more years of professional experience in a tattoo shop.
- We are looking for artists who have either tattoo or piercing experience.

Tattoo Apprenticeship Program Expectations:
LAS VEGAS TATTOO & PIERCING APPRENTICESHIP
v Apprentices who are given the honor of apprenticeship will undergo 2 weeks of trial apprenticeship. At the end of the trial weeks, the working artists of that shop will vote either to keep or to reject the apprentice applicant. Owner will make the final decision.
v Apprentices voted into the business will serve a 1 year Apprenticeship.
v Total Cost of Apprenticeship will be $2,000 - $3,000 depending on artist. Payment plans and arrangements will be set forth by the artist and owner.
v Apprentice will complete flash designs as instructed by management. Requirement will be 3 pieces per week.
v Apprentice will be responsible to follow directions by artists and owners.
v Apprentices will follow the direction of artists on shift to help with shop upkeep.
v Apprentice will perform errands and request of working artist within reasonable conditions.
v Apprentice will report all hazing, harassment, disrespect to management.
v Apprentice will comply with all artist rules and regulations.
v Apprentice earns $0 dollars during the apprenticeship first 6 months.
v Apprentice’s who complete and are certified at the end of the 1st year will receive Full Licensed Certification.

Las Vegas Apprenticeship List of Shop Responsibilities:
These listed responsibilities are to be done daily, unless otherwise indicated.
Ø Sweep the entire shop- pull everything out of each station and sweep stations thoroughly.
Ø Take out trash & replace trash bag- Front & back, office, piercing room, & each station.
Ø Mop entire shop- Pull everything out of each station and mop each station thoroughly.
Ø Microside station counter tops, chairs, tables and sinks, as well as clip cords and foot switches. If anything gets broken through this process, it will be your responsibility to purchase & replace.
Ø Clean bathroom! –Microside toilets, counters and handrails. Make sure toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are stocked. Clean mirror and make sure to sweep and mop both bathrooms.
Ø Tubes! Tubes! Tubes! Tubes are integral to the tattoo process and must be cleaned, bagged, sterilized, dated and place in each artist station daily!
Ø Clean all glass in shop- Windows, counters (all counter tops need to be cleaned daily, regardless if they’re glass or not), display cases, and fish tank.
Ø Dust and wipe down shop including but not limited to—Television, ottoman, and any displays.
Ø Straighten up magazines and couch in lobby area.
Ø Make sure there’s consent/release forms, aftercare sheets and any other paperwork that is required for the daily functioning of the shop.
Ø Make sure back employment break room area is clean. This includes trash, table, and dishes.
